Rob Symington Joins UK’s Berry Brothers & Rudd as MD

Meanwhile Symington Family Estates co-CEO Rob Symington, who is the family’s 5th generation, has become managing director of Berry Brothers, Britain’s oldest wine trading company.

From September, he will step down from his role managing the family-owned Douro Valley estate and move to London. The Symingtons and Berry Bros. & Rudd have worked together before – they jointly bought British wine producer Hambledon Wine Estate in 2021.

In his new role at Berry Bros. & Rudd Rob Symington will be responsible for sales, customer strategy and marketing. He will report directly to CEO Emma Fox.
